Zanzibar Archipelago

The Zanzibar archipelago lies about 16 miles off the coast of Tanzania. It is comprised of the following islands: Zanzibar, Pemba, Mnemba, and several more. Zanzibar has a rich history of trade and commerce acting as one of the more dominant ports on the trade route from India to Africa, around South Africa and onward to Europe. We find that travelers like to end their safari in Zanzibar, where they can enjoy the ocean and its beaches, tour the spice plantations, and learn about the rich history of Stone Town.
